Lawyers learn the law. They are instrumental in making the laws. They meditate upon it. They draft and modify the laws to suit the time and need of the society. They debate the laws. They interpret the laws. They adjudicate the laws. The service of lawyers saves society from chaos and anarchy. Culture can survive and peace can exist only under rule of law.
Lawyers occupy the seats where the destinies of the nations are decided. Lawyers are the class who dictate probity to the society. Thus their status in the social order is being high, their commitment to truth and justice shall be unshakable. Lawyers are the leaders who save the nation during trysts with tyranny. We dream of the days when our students will hold the lamps of our great legacy and wisdom for devising our great nation into the heaven in this world.
While speaking about Lawyer’s profession, John W. Davis former Solicitor General of the United States said, “True, we build no bridges. We raise no towers. We construct no engines. We paint no pictures unless as amateurs for our own principal amusement. There is little of all that we do which the eye can see. But we smooth out difficulties; we relieve stress; we correct mistakes; we take up other people’s burdens and by our efforts, we make possible a peaceful society.”

The 5 yr Programme of the Dual Degrees Honours in Law and Business – BBA. LL.B.
