Celebrating Academic Excellence: Bhavan's PALSAR Joins hands with Mathrubhumi and Canara Bank to host 'Aadaram 2026' Honouring Outstanding Student Achievers Reported on: 11/07/2026 Bhavan's N.A. Palkhivala Academy for Advanced Legal Studies and Research (PALSAR), in association with Mathrubhumi and Canara Bank, proudly participated in "Aadaram 2026," a grand felicitation programme held at the Meenooz Auditorium and Convention Centre, Kozhikode. The event was organized to honour the exceptional achievements of State and CBSE Plus-Two students from Kozhikode district who secured full A+/A1 grades in all subjects. The programme brought together distinguished dignitaries, educators, students, and parents in a celebration of academic excellence, inspiring the young achievers to pursue higher education with confidence and purpose. The programme commenced with an introductory address by Ms. Sajani Nair T.R, faculty member of Bhavan's Vidyashram, Ramanattukara. This was followed by an engaging Career Guidance Seminar led by Dr. P. K. Aneesh, Associate Professor, Government Law College on the topic ‘Career in Law’. The formal function began with the welcome address delivered by Shri. C. Manikandan, Asst. General Manager of Mathrubhumi. The Excellence Award Ceremony was inaugurated by Shri. M. K. Raghavan, Member of Parliament, Kozhikode. The function was presided over by Shri. P. V. Nidhish, Joint Managing Editor of Mathrubhumi. The keynote address was delivered by Shri. K. Jayanth, Member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly (MLA), Kozhikode North. The programme also featured a series of felicitation addresses by eminent personalities. Adv. P. Parameswaran, Secretary & Director ,Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Ramanattukara Kendra, emphasized that education is not merely about academic success but about nurturing character, values, and responsible citizenship. Adv. Shyam Padman, Senior Advocate of the High Court of Kerala and Academic Director of Bhavan's PALSAR, highlighted the evolving scope of legal education and introduced the institution's upcoming specialized and lateral-entry programmes, including career-oriented fields such as Media Law, Cyber Law, etc. Prof. R. K. Biju, Principal of Bhavan's PALSAR, also addressed the gathering, encouraging students to apply their knowledge and talents for the betterment of society. The programme concluded with the distribution of Excellence Awards to the student achievers. The vote of thanks was delivered by Shri. N. A. Sreejith, Deputy Chief Manager of Circulation at Mathrubhumi, Kozhikode.

Harilal, Director of Research Directorate, Course Coordinator and Head of the Department of Environmental Sciences, University of Calicut. Through his insightful address, Dr. Harilal emphasized the significance of sustainable practices, environmental stewardship, and the role of youth in shaping a greener future. The event was enriched by the presence and felicitations of our Principal, Prof. RK Biju, followed by Dr. Surekha Somabalan, Head of the Department of Law, Dr. S. Geetha, Head of the Department of Management, and Mr. E.M. Unnikrishnan, Assistant Professor (Law) and Teacher Coordinator of the Green Club. The observance also marked the reconstitution of the PALSAR Green Club 2026, reaffirming the institution's dedication to promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices within the campus community.
