‘ The Global School for Advanced Studies & Research in Law & Management – A National Necessity’.
After the commencement of the era of globalisation, knowledge about law and management of one’s own country has ceased to be sufficient for success. In this global village, nations are becoming interdependent and interconnected. The interaction between the people of various countries are at unprecedented rates. Industrial and commercial activities are expanding among nations, and the boundaries between nations confine in politics and geography. In future, lawyers and managers will have to practice law or management in the wider and more diverse global village regardless of his nationality. Even after the best efforts made by Government and non-government organisations, the void of an institution of excellence of the required grandeur still exists. This aspect prompts us to set up an institution of international stature for advanced studies and research in law. We feel it to be a national necessity needed by time.
The Academy named after the memory of N.A.Palkhivala will develop into a Global Institute for Advanced Learning and Research in law and management studies. The Academy is affiliated to the University of Calicut. It will be developed into de-novo institute of excellence eligible to be declared as a Deemed University in due course.
The establishment of the Institution will be a landmark in the history of the legal and management education in India. In order to materialize this vision, Bhavan expects the wholehearted support and assistance from all – especially from the well-wishers of Bhavan, friends and admirers who seek an ideal monument for the revered memory of late Palkhivala, and all who dream to see such a world-class institution established in India.
The Institution so born is named as Bhavan’s N. A. Palkhivala Academy for Advanced Legal Studies and Research, or in short, Bhavan’s PALSAR. At Bhavan’s PALSAR, we are confident that we understand the pulse of our nation and our students. We know the core areas for improvement of each student and have appropriate inventory to up-skill them impeccably for a brighter future.
We are passionate about bringing in a transformation into the personality of our students. We make sure the training at PALSAR is profoundly result-oriented and ensure that the curriculum, education system and training methodologies are at par with the international standards.
