1. This is a Double Degree Integrated Honours Course combining Bachelor of Business Administration Degree Course together with the Hons. Bachelors Degree Course in Law, which shall be of not less than five years duration with ten semesters leading to the BBA., LL.B (Hons.) and it is in conformity with rules framed by the Bar Council of India by virtue of its powers under the Advocates Act, 1961.
The degree obtained after successful completion of the Course shall be recognized for the purpose of enrollment as Advocate under the Advocates Act, 1961.
2. . The Course shall consist of a regular course of study for a minimum period of five academic years. The last 6 months of the final year of the Course shall include regular course of practical training.
3. The course of study in Law shall be by regular attendance for the requisite number of lectures, tutorials, moot courts and other practical training.
Applications are to be submitted to CEE Kerala after the notification calling for application. The selection will be as per the Kerala government norms and the process that will be notified by CEE.
REGISTRATION UNDER MANAGEMENT QUOTA
(a) Applications for Registration for admission to the Management Quota for the above courses can be submitted in the prescribed form available from the College Office on payment of Rs.500/- or DOWNLOADABLE from our website. (b) The duly filled Registration forms shall be send to the Principal, Bhavan’s N.A.Palkhivala Academy for Advanced Legal Studies and Research, [Bhavan’s PALSAR], P.B.No.8, Ramanattukara (P.O), Kozhikode, Kerala , 673633. The Downloaded Registration forms shall be accompanied by a DD for Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) in favour of Bhavan’s PALSAR towards Application fee, drawn on SBI / SBT / PNB / SMGB / CANARA BANK and payable at Ramanattukara.
(c)The Applications shall be accompanied by the self attested Photostat copies of relevant Mark lists of the qualifying examination.
Applications without the payment of application fee of Rs.500/- (by cash in Office or by DD) will be rejected.
If selection of Govt. quota students are belated, Introductory and enrichment classes to improve special skills for students under Management quota will commence earlier.
Candidate should be an Indian Citizen. Certificate from a Village Officer or a competent authority to show that the candidate is a native of any State or Union Territory of India should be furnished in the prescribed format along with the application.
(a) Candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or any other examination recognized by the Universities in Kerala as equivalent thereto.
(b) A candidate who has passed an examination in 10+2 Course of schooling recognized by the educational authority of the Central or State Government or possesses such academic qualifications which are considered equivalent to such 10+2 course by the Bar Council of India can also apply for admission to the course.
(c) Candidates who are appearing/ appeared for the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination. Such candidates become eligible for admission only if they produce the Pass Certificate and Mark List of the qualifying examination at the time of admission.
(d) No candidate shall be admitted to the Course, unless he/she has passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 45% marks. However, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes need only 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
Twenty years in case of general category of applicants and twenty two years in case of applicants from SC, ST and other Backward communities.
